Program overviewImagine sitting down with a new employee and asking the question: "Where would you like for the company match to go? You can choose your student loan, an emergency savings account, a loved one's college savings account OR your retirement plan." For far too long our industry has operated in a retirement bubble, but the fact is most of your employees have much more immediate financial concerns than just retirement. How do you take an existing benefit and realign it to match what your employees really need? Specific, actionable ideas for taking your benefits to the next level.

Learning objectives

  • What is considered ‘cutting edge’ retirement plan design?
  • How can you add Student Loans, 529 Savings Accounts and Emergency Accounts to your current plan?
  • What recent legislation should be considered?
  • How do you actually find the best solution for your company and implement these ideas?
